Our organizer, Louisa Killian did a great job getting it organized, there was lots of participation and it was really FUN too! We had 13 people ,15 tables , and the club made around $100. View photos from the tack sale.

Beach Ride
Former member Arlene Murray (wife of Life Member Jim Murray) sent this photo to us. In her email, she said this was something she had wanted to do since moving to Florida in 1979. 2005 Sporthorse Nationals
In the October newsletter, member Kristin Schreiner reported on the successful week that she had at Sport Horse Nationals.
Kristin showed her client Gretchen's horse, Nawadii Jaabir, in 2nd level Open and made Top Ten. Kristin sent in these photos from the event.
4H Open Fund Raiser Horse Show
Spacecoast Arabian Horse Club, Inc. was out in force recently to support a wonderful cause at the 4H Open Fund Raiser Horse Show held at Wickham Park on Sunday, November 20, 2005. The fund raiser show was held to benefit the Gore family and to assist them with medical expenses related to Renee's recent surgery and recovery . Participating in the event also allowed the club an added bonus - Kick off for the SAHC 2006 Membership Drive and Kooler giveaway. Officers Laine Henry, President; Joan Van Scyoc, Vice President; Edna Owens, Treasurer and Melinda Gonyaw, Secretary along with Board Member Sue Metzger set up and/or manned the booth. Melinda presented the newly redesigned display board complete with photos and brochures in a beautiful presentation that attracted many of the show's participants to view and ask questions about our beloved Arabian breed.
The outreach effort proved to be a great success toward building awareness among our local horse community members about the Arabian breed and the Spacecoast Arabian Horse Club. As an added bonus, we signed up a couple of new members, who were delighted to receive their new SAHC logo lunch bag/kooler and we sold several t-shirts. The highlight of the day occurred when an adorable little girl dropped by and fell in love with the photo of the ideal Arabian Horse sent to us from the Arabian Horse Association. She became our Little Ambassador as she proudly displayed the photo to anyone she came in contact with at the show. That is the best public relations we could ever hope for!
